I worked with Audubon Rockies in May 2022 to illustrate an article by Ashley Meadows – linked here – discussing outdoor home lighting and its impact on birds. The impact of residential lighting is relatively under-realized, and as shown in the first illustration, its reduction – or dimming – can have quite a favorable effect on light pollution. There are several ways to do so, as detailed in the article.
